Fergie seems up for a war of words however, after “Big Phil’s” assertion that United’s #2 Carlos Quiroz was lobbying for his job. Quiroz has defended himself against the somewhat dubious comments from Scolari – a figure whose opinions should almost always be taken with a rather large grain of salt.

If this argument grows, perhaps somebody can arrange one of those celebrity boxing matches between Fergie and Phil. Who wouldn’t pay to see that?!!
