Villa Brushed Aside

By: Nick | January 15th, 2007

park.jpg Villa’s first win at Old Trafford since 1983 was never in question – as United scored early, then coasted to a comfortable win. Three points in the bag, fifteen games to go – and Arsenal on the horizon.

Ji-Sung Park scored one and had a hand in the other two. After an injury hit start to the season – his contribution can be very important during the run in. Especially if Giggs (or deep breath – Ronaldo) picks up an injury.

When Park came to United, all of the nonsense about his signing being a nod to the Far East market was debated. But his brief United career so far – has revealed a very talented player indeed.

Anyway – the title train remains firmly on the tracks, hurtling at full speed towards the Emirates Stadium.
