United v Tottenham – “Highlights?”

By: Taylor Rockwell | December 13th, 2008

I feel like it’s a bit misleading to refer to what I’m posting below as “highlights”, since, you know, we didn’t do a whole lot of classic stuff in this one. Slave threw in a nice handball and a decent leg swipe at one of the Tottenham defenders that kept him bottled up all afternoon. Berbatov would have probably murdered something cute and cuddly to get his name on the score sheet. Park ran a lot. Van der Sar made some excellent saves. If that doesn’t really adequately sum it all up for you, then go ahead and click on the vids posted below.

weak or not, it was a handball. Berbs did nothing wrong. Carrick should be taken out back and shot. You would have to go to Neverland ranch to find more heavy and atrocious touches. I can’t believe scholes came on for fletcher and not carrick.

Juan, I think it was more the leg swipe that got me… I saw him try to shake the Spurs defender’s hand and I thought, “Wow… he’s saying good tackle… maybe he’s not a prick”… then I saw the slow-motion highlight of him throwing a little leg swipe and I was less enthused…

I can’t believe Nani didn’t play in this game. He offers so much more in games like this than Giggs or Park.
