taylor you should know by now that my berba manlove won’t be deterred by visions of marlboro’s and big mac’s. i see myself in him! haha

but really, as hard as park works he needs to ride the pine instead of carlos…it’s not like nani could hang with the tevez either. i fail to see how that’s escaped the ferg.

Oversimplification? How dare you imply that constantly referencing Berba’s love of cheeseburgers/laziness is an oversimplification of his playing style.

Like I said, I think that we saw more endeavor from Berba, and I appreciated the result. I will go one step further and say that a Rooney/Berba combo (when playing to their potential) necessitates Tevez be left on the bench as much as he has been. I believe such was the case on Saturday.

it was deserved…at one point the possession was 85-15 in the second half. they camped out the whole game and had it coming…surprised it took that long though. i like carlitos alot and i know he works alot harder than berba but does it really get all that different of a result? i know he’s hated here for appearing lazy but berbatov really does add a complete other dimension to the squad especially with scholes not there to pick the passes out in a more forward part of the pitch…that’s just not something carlos does…he puts his head down and charges like he’s on an episode of that japanese game show where people are trying to figure out which door to plow through.

and yea i know thats an oversimplification but its what this blogs been doing to berba since he joined up.

I was pleased with parts of Berba’s game, but not it all.

Rafael has been a revelation, I just want to see what Fabio can do now.
