Not the worst result last night. Certainly not the best, but a 1-1 draw away in the Champions League is a vital point to have. And it was certainly nice to see United’s possible keeper of the future in-between the sticks, even if it did come at the price of watching him get chipped a la Rooney.

Call me crazy, but I would almost rather see a poor United team in a midweek clash when we have a significant match ahead at the weekend. Fergie is well known for his… shall we say…. motivational tactics, and I would expect a far sleeker, brighter start to the first half this Saturday than what we saw yesterday.
