Melanie they are different situations, I don’t think you can simplify it like that. If you are talking about 6+5 then some of them will inevitably be transferred back to their home countries. But so far there is no sign of 6+5 so there’s no point worrying about that until it happens. And even then clubs will be given a few years to sort things out. The only rules that exist at present state that a certain number of players must train at the club for 4 years between 17 and 23 or something like that.

Manchester got away with it, Chelsea did’nt. And what will happen to all these foreign players if UEFA does pass the ruling they want to, that at least six players on a side have to from the country the club they are playing for is in?
