Tuesday Afternoon Live Chat

By: Taylor Rockwell | June 1st, 2009

As previously discussed (thanks to Colin for the reminder) we’re going to start hosting live chats here at the Man United Offside. I’ll post the topic a day ahead of time, and then host a guided chat the following afternoon.

Tomorrow, the session will begin at 1PM (EST) and we’ll be discussing the upcoming transfer window. With the season now over, what changes do United need to make to ensure a solid run in all competitions next season? All transfer rumors, suggestions, and ideas are open for discussion.

Let me know if you have any questions or comments, and I look forward to hearing from any/all of you tomorrow! See you then!

Fantastic idea. I was thinking we should add some new things to this. What time in GMT is 1pm EST?

Matt, just remember that we were all a bit afraid of a Scolari-led Chelsea last season… I remember Steven Cohen referring to them as looking “just like the Brazilian national team.” We all know how that ended up…

On another note, I just wanted to add that this was an idea that both Wayne and I came up with a while back. In rereading the article, it came off as though it were my brilliant brainchild…

As my ideas are rarely (if ever) brilliant, I just wanted to clarify that… hope to hear from you all tomorrow…

And, to preempt the inevitable comment, I don’t know why I chose an image of (apparent) Lego Star Trek characters… it just worked out that way…
