Treatment Table Update: Gary Neville Finally Set to Return; Carrick Trains; While Ferdinand Injury Rumor Quashed
By: Nick | October 30th, 2007
I can’t shake the feeling that we’ve seen the best of Gary Neville. His ankle injury looked bad the day it happened, even worse over seven months later. It seems he’s finally about to return this week. I wish him luck.
The loss of Paul Scholes means the rest of the midfield must excel. Especially Michael Carrick, now that he too is on the comeback trail.
Meanwhile, despite initial reports to the contrary, Rio Ferdinand does not have a groin problem, and will make the eleven for Saturday’s clash with Arsenal.
