The Verdict on Yesterday’s Narrow Victory

By: Nick | March 5th, 2008

Whilst we all shrug our shoulders about the quality of performance, at least we’re in the draw for the quarter finals. That’ll do nicely I suppose.

Those closer to the action have a varied reaction: Lyon themselves see our equalizer in the first match as the difference. Sir Alex was left a little frustrated by the match, while Rio Ferdinand refuses to get too carried away.

A view from the stands can be found here while this column echoes my own personal lack of satisfaction about the night.
