The Friday Links

One of my favorite sportswriters is ESPN’s Bill Simmons. He has fostered my intense love of all things sport and a simultaneous hatred for all things Boston. That said, he is also the man who made it possible for me to waste an entire day at work via his “weekly links” segments. He appears to have stopped doing this recently, so I will attempt to fill the void and make those last hours of the workday go a little smoother.

It won’t waste too much time, but if you’ve always wanted a singular Brazilian name then this is the place for you. Additionally, can we say “Ronaldo” is no longer a singular name since it’s pretty widely accepted that he is now known as “Fat Ronaldo”? God, I can’t wait to see him eat 13 McDonald’s cheeseburgers and then actually play for an MLS team.
