So It Begins…
By: Taylor Rockwell | June 3rd, 2009
We here at the Man United offside have been pondering how United would enter the transfer window for… oh… roughly 3 months. Well we officially received our answer this morning, as Citeh manager Mark Hughes confirmed his interest in Carlitos Tevez.
Obviously, it isn’t quite on the level of Gareth Barry’s ridiculously absurd transfer to the Middle Eastlands, but when a club backed by a multi-multi-multi billionaire takes interest in one of your players, you tend to sit up and take notice. Compound that with the fact that 1) Tevez is already frustrated with United, and 2) he is owned by money grubbing whores, and I’m guessing you can figure out where this one ends up.
Still, Hughes’ comment was speculative at best: “Carlos Tevez is a good player. If good players become available then obviously every manager is interested.” My guess is that that’s code for “I would really like to sign Tevez and have someone murder Bellamy… but I fear the wrath of Fergie… so instead I will make veiled comments to Sky Sports and see how it plays out… then feign ignorance when the angry, gum-toting Scotsman heads my way.”
This isn’t the first time we’ve heard a big name linked with an Old Trafford exit, and it certainly won’t be the last. Indeed, I would usually refrain from commenting on rumors like this. However, given the situation with Tevez, I really can’t see United getting into a bidding war for a man they could have had without competition only a few months ago. I still hold out some hope that we keep That Man From Argentina, but it seems like once Quieroz departed so too did any hope of Tevez remaining at United for an extended amount of time. I could be wrong (and often am), but my guess is that we’ll be reading a lot more about this drama in the near future.
The only solace I take from this news (at least right now) is that, come press conference time, at least we’ll get to hear Tevez read a forced statement about how Citeh are a massive club and he’s really excited to play in the Champions League… er… Europa League… er… finish in the Top Four… er… get them on the right track! Yeah, that’s it!

I see Inter taking away Tevez.
Inter for long have hard-on’s for players from argentina and if Ibrahomovich decides to leave Inter, its going to be Tevez for them.
Jose apparently has a boner for him aswell.
He would be stupid enough to remain in England and play for those Arab goat fuckers.

“Arab goat fuckers” Very classy Dhaw.
I can realistically see Ribery coming over to United. I doubt Fergie will make any wholesale changes but rather go and get one really superior player.
