Not sure where this saga is leading but its something to take into consideration the fact that Ferguson has said CR will play at old trafford next season and the player is still doubtful of his future. To me that means Ferguson has come to a grip that the kid wants to leave no matter what and therefore the red devils need to convince Real the player is not for sale in order to scoop the largest amount possible. Many of these operations in the past finished in the devaluation of a player due to the inner struggles within the team. Real have used their “unsettling tactics” to deviate the player to Real but also to devaluate his market price in the hope that man u find themselves selling the kid in a desperate attempt.

Also, the fact that Real hasnt signed anyone new is also leading me to believe the CR deal is almost a sure thing…whatever happened to diego, huntelaar, pavluchenko….? Schuster is all about Van der Vaart but apparently he’s staying another season at his present club, there is too much silence lately and that is not very common at the bernabeu.
