Ole’s Knee Goes Under the Knife (Again)

By: Nick | June 4th, 2007

thmb_unipsa_solskjaer.jpgPoor Solskjaer’s troublesome knee has flared up again and he will now miss Norway’s Euro 2008 qualifier against Hungary. Just how many surgeries can one knee take?

“He had swelling and intermittent locking (of the joint) so he was operated on this morning in Oslo” said Norway’s team doctor.

I’m no medical expert, but I’d say “intermittent locking” and “professional footballer” don’t belong together. It makes you wonder just how long he can (and should) keep going.
