More Than Likely False Transfer Rumour for Today
By: Nick | May 25th, 2007
According to the mother ship of juicy transfer speculation, The Sun, United are trying to somehow tempt Spurs to take Louis Saha plus the tidy sum of 27.5 million pounds in exchange for the quite decent Dimitar Berbatov. Allegedly this would mean a ‘fee’ of 39 million pounds for the suave looking Bulgarian. I can only imagine we’ll be throwing in the oft-injured Saha’s medical history in for free.
While likely completely made up, this rumor seems to have been directly downloaded from the dreams of the majority of United fans, who quite frankly have become tired of Saha’s brittleness. It’s time for him to move on. Thanks for the goals when you were fit enough to play. But don’t let the door hit you in the arse on the way out.

Spurs might be a good option for him as he’d be a starter there. I don’t see him starting for any big European clubs, not even mini ones like Lyon and Valencia.
There have been Saha to Lyon rumors all over France, but I don’t think it would be a good move for him as he’d still be playing second fiddle to either Fred or whoever else Lyon buys this summer.
