Match Preview: Two Northern Giants Collide Again
By: Nick | March 21st, 2008
It’s THE FIXTURE every United fan who is friends with, or works with a Liverpool supporter, looks forward to the least.
I’ll hate watching every minute of this match for all that getting the wrong result would mean on differing levels.
Unfortunately, it looks as if we have some serious concern with the defense — a situation less than ideal to achieve Sir Alex’s rallying cry for consistency.
There are some subtle mind games floating around as usual, though nothing too ridiculous given the nature of this weekend’s contests.
As far as the betting goes, United are 5/6 to win, with Liverpool 11/4 to do the same.
A quite tasty bet could be Tevez at 28/1 to score the only goal of the game. He’s due for one I reckon.
The tactics will likely keep things close. Genius could prove decisive.

I think it’s about time Rooney scores… After all, he’s Man U’s #1 striker.

I think Rooney has had less than 40% of Ronaldo’s goal tally this season…that is ridiculous…he not in form unfortunately..:(
