Manchester United v. Blackburn Rovers Highlights
By: Taylor Rockwell | December 4th, 2008United 1 – Blackburn 0 (Carlos Tevez)
United 2 – Blackburn 0 (Nani)
United 2 – Blackburn 1 (McCarthy)
United 3 – Blackburn 1 (Tevez – Penalty)
United 4 – Blackburn 1 (Tevez)
United 4 – Blackburn 2 (Derbyshire)
United 4 – Blackburn 3 (McCarthy)
United 5 – Blackburn 3 (Tevez)
Not entirely sure how I feel about us letting Blackburn back into it in the final minutes. Sadly, my feed cut out with 20 minutes to go, so I really do have no idea what happened there. Nevertheless, some excellent performances all around yesterday. Obviously, it was good to see Tevez get on the score sheet… a lot. But I was equally pleased with the quality of play from Anderson, Rafael (especially), Carrick #2 (Gibson), Nani, and Possebon. Hopefully, these younger players will continue to get opportunities in the near future. Only time will tell…

Tevez perfomance was awesome, and clearly brought out his true worth. It’s now that sir fergie considered him again in his starting eleven.ELSE i would advice tevez to look for greener pastures elsewhere.

Oh wow his 4th goal was amazing. That’s a world-class finish.
And Anderson was doing a really good job out there. He doesn’t seem to be a selfish player and I always admire that. He gave Tevez a goal and his assist in Tevez’s last goal was great.

Agreed. The Brazilian passed up a golden opportunity to notch his first United goal to help out the greater good. That went a long way towards cementing my feelings about Anderson’s future at the club.
