I’m not convinced that Schweinsteiger has the talent to replace Ronaldo, or that he’d even be any better than any of our current options. Ribery certainly has talent, but is older than Ronaldo, not as good, and for some reason will cost almost as much / more if some sources are to be believed.

All I can say is trust in Fergie, he knows what he’s doing.

i still want to go after a bayern munich winger though. what would be wrong with going after schweinsteiger for much cheaper?

Wayne will cut a bitch… for real… The thing with most of these “breaking news” bits is that they rarely (if ever) feature actual quotes from the players… I don’t believe the Guardian article ever actually quotes Tevez, but simply comments on the speculation… It gets a bit old…

I guess that is a good point, Spain to Manchester would be tough, but it is one of the best operations in the world. I just get a bit unnerved when you don’t hear any of the big players saying “I would love to play for United” this summer. I suppose it is still early as well.
