Insane in the Membrane

I’ve cracked. Right now, I struggle to type these words through my brand new straight jacket – kindly provided by the asylum. I’m here, because the Owen Hargreaves transfer fiasco has finally driven me round the bend. I’ve lost my marbles. All of them.

I was teetering with every bit of interest expressed by United, then wobbled some more, with every denial (then apparent change of heart) by Bayern Munich. The end almost came once I saw his official site.

But alas, for the sake of my reader, I somehow kept it together – despite clear challenges to my sane state of being. Until I came across his new column on the BBC – where poor Owen can wax lyrical about his nice life (except those pesky transfer rumours of course). Gaaahh! Enough! Please! I’m off to take my medicine now… Nurse!
