In Come Watford

By: Nick | January 30th, 2007

watford.gif Quite why Watford have a moose in their badge (when their nickname is the Hornets) is a little beyond me. Perhaps he’s a moose who really believes he’s a hornet. It’s not like anybody can tell him otherwise.

Regardless, the Premiership’s bottom club come to Old Trafford on a bit of a high. Amazing what two wins on the trot can do for you. They certainly have a new found confidence – which scares me just a little.

The team news sees Saha out injured (again!) – so Rooney won’t get to rest. And Cristiano is back from sunny Dubai.

The “moose” is not a moose but a hart, from which our county (Hertfordshire) takes its name.
