George Best — Honoring a Legend

Despite his human failings and less that glamorous later years, it’s nice to see the memory of such an extraordinary talent being recognized. Not only does the man have an airport named after him – now it appears that his image will be gracing currency in his native Northern Ireland.
I heard a story once of a Manchester City fan who simply refused to fly United Airlines because of his hatred of their city rivals. Now the poor guy might have to refuse his change when he next goes shopping!
