Cristiano Shining Over Christmas

The absolute nonsense that followed Rooney’s sending off at the World Cup, could have led to Cristiano Ronaldo fleeing England, for some peace and quiet. If that had happened – it’s the Premiership that would have been the biggest loser (and United naturally).
He’s been superb of late, and has been attracting the plaudits for a change. His goals have been most welcome to the title challenge – and they’re an important addition to all the step-overs.
The prospect of Rooney and Ronaldo together at their peak is a mouth-watering one… Let’s hope it happens at United.
