who's to say the special one won't get bored and move on from us after a year or so... he is too self centered to stand up to United's History. In a perfect world I would love to see Ole or Roy in there, even Bruce, but let's see how this plays out, if those boys can get up to par in time...I don't see Mourinho's heart in it, just his banking account #'s.
... and thank you for cutting the ManYoo crap Wyane.

In three years time you would be looking for a WORLD CLASS long term replacement for fergie and who would fit the billing better than mourinho? I dont agree with the likes of Keane and Hughes because I just dont think that in three years time they would be able to handle that kind of job. Mourinho won the Champions League with a team that cost less than Sunderlands and Man City's might I add. And conrary to popular belief about his tactics, Porto played good assured football.

I said I wouldn't change it for one person, but considering a lot people hate it, bish-bosh, it's gone.

I sort of agree with all the fuss about the name Wayne....there is a reason why fans are hurt when you call the club with that name..there is a history to that....(search it...it's easy to find)..if you want to adamant that's fine...but United sounds much better too ;)

Sorry for going off topic...

Forget about the asking price but I do believe that Fergie should give Tevez more playing time rather than keeping him warm on the bench. When he first came last season he did look a bit rusty but look what happen later?

Ronaldo may have scored 30 plus goals but Tevez scored some critical goal (last minute ones against Spurs and Blackburn) that allowed United to capture the Premiership and Champions League.

I have just posted an article related to this story by stating my point of view on this whole matter. I would appreciate if you check it out and perhaps leave your thoughts/opinions on the comment box.

United has only been playing beautiful football for the past two seasons. Prior to that they have played both "winning football" and "attacking football". I think that while it is true that Queiroz has yet to prove himself as a manager - he was the best assistant that Sir Alex had and - more important - he had a huge influence on the beautiful football phase United are now in. He significantly influenced player acquisitions and style of play. I really wish he'd fail with Portugal and get back to United pronto. He and Sir Alex were a great combo. As for Mourinho - you are quite right in being worried - Mourinho wants results only. As such - he would never be as great as Sir Alex. For all of Sir Alex's simple-minded tactics over the years - he was atleast brave and entertaining with his swashbuckling attacking football; a brand of football that also won.
