CHAMPIONS OF ENGLAND! CHAMPIONS OF ENGLAND!

By: Taylor Rockwell | May 16th, 2009

Not a whole lot to say just yet… I think the Tevez situation put a damper on the celebrations, but regardless… we kept our trophy! Again! More to come later, but for now… feel free to leave your comments/celebratory, drunken statements/angry rants (Ed… looking in your direction) below… TAKE ME HOME, UNITED ROAD!

For a good laugh, check out The Guardian’s coverage of today’s events… at least their correspondent wakes up on time…

    Audience: Boo! Boo!
    Burns: Smithers…are they booing me?
    Smithers: Uh, no, they’re saying “Boo-urns! Boo-urns!”
Burns: Are you saying “boo” or “Boo-urns”?
    Audience: Boo! Boo!
    Hans: I was saying “Boo-urns”…

even thought i don’t want to say it, congratulations on an excellent season .. at least you had some competition this time around!

It’s a great feeling! Not so great was the booing during the Tevez sub. Lots of running from him, but no end product today. Nevertheless, Champions of England, Champions of Europe, and Champions of the World. AND THAT’S A FACT!

5 yellow cards and all against Arsenal. That about sums up the state of top flight football in England.

I don’t know, I think Liverpool can still pull it off. Plus that chick on the left looks hot.

At least we had competition this time?!?!?!

Last season, the THIRD place finished FOUR points behind. If we beat hull, SECOND place will be a minimum of SIX points behind. Looking at those stats, we had less competition HA! HA! HA!

Champions of England, Champions of Europe, Champions of the World!

Hopefully we can keep that whole combination for another season!

And by the way, to correct myself earlier. The minimum points difference for second place is Four points if we beat Hull. For some reason the result today felt like a win…must have been the shiny trophy we got :p
