Champions League Preview: United (and the Fans) Hope Yet Again to Safely Navigate Rome

By: Nick | March 31st, 2008

It’s hard talk about Manchester United versus AS Roma without mentioning fan safety, and yep, once again it’s an issue.

As far as matters on the pitch go, it looks like early injury concern has abated.

There’s little doubt about the importance of Europe to United this season — might a little samba style be the key to our success?

Sir Alex certainly seems confident.

Come on United! We’re clearly the better side, less players injured, and the front two are on the best form of the season – great to have Rooney back on form, his grit will be invaluable tonight (as long as it doesn’t translate itself into a red card).

As long as we score and don’t lose, I’ll be happy, although a win should definitely be possible.
