Carling Cup Finalists (Spurs) Seek Another Victim (United) in the FA Cup

By: Nick | January 25th, 2008

Fresh from the midweek battering of hated rivals, though in all honesty understrength Arsenal, Spurs will in all likelyhood be full of confidence ahead of this match.

It’s great to read that Paul Scholes could find himself sat on the bench as he comes back from knee surgery, while a seemingly fully fit Owen Hargreaves is a bonus too. Sounds like he’s prepared to keep his first FA Cup experience going.

Let’s just hope we get to see a thoroughly entertaining cup tie.

Considering we haven’t won at OT since 1989 (gasp), most of us Yids are pretty realistic about our chances in this one. But, yes, I do hope that we help make it an entertaining match.
