Anti-Glazer Paint Daubers Extend Their Target List

By: Nick | January 23rd, 2008

Not content to splash red paint at the home of David Gill, those who remain angered at their club being exploited by the Glazer family have recently targeted the local office of main sponsor AIG. I just pity the poor folks who had to clean the mess up.

With promises of more attacks to come – I’m not too sure how I feel about such ugly tactics by the anti-Glazer movement. Do I think they have a case? Yes. Do I agree with the way they go about airing their grievances? No. Do I think the Glazer family are squeezing as much profit as they can from the pockets of passionate fans? Yes. Is it the same club I’ve been supporting since the 1970’s? Yes and no.

Who knows just how all of the wrangling over the Glazers will end, but I’m certain it’ll be interesting (though hopefully not a complete disaster) .

At least the Glazers seem savvy enough to leave Sir Alex alone. Unlike the current shenanigans a few miles away at Liverpool.
