Mikel did not say anything about trophies or anything like that in the link above, he's 19 and has many years to win trophies. He said that he is glad his decision was not a mistake, and I think he was right. Would he have started the cup final for United if he had joined? Would he have started in the champions league? Probably not, he would of come off the bench most of the time. Chelsea also has a large contingent of African players, which probably made him feel more at home, whereas United have none. Also, who would have Mikel learned his position from at United? John O'Shea? Carrick? Maybe if Keane was still there he would of helped Mikel progress, but I would much rather be learning from Makelele and Essien about how to play midfield than from "I can't tackle" Paul Scholes. I think from an unbiased view, Mikel made the right choice for himself.

Quite the rant! Still can't believe United got beat by Milan, and your boys couldn't overcome Liverpool.

As AC won the Champions League - Man Utd, Liverpool and Chelsea were s**t!!! Three of the four semi-finalists were English.

At least Chelsea went for the FOUR!!! Unlike Paella man Benitez who always gives up the ghost at the first hurdle - take the two Arsenal cup games as an example - and the league - Paella man is THE TINKERMAN - he made over 100 changes in the Premiership. As for SAF - at least he goes for it and he almost acheived it.

If you can't win the Premiership - the FA Cup is the ONE to win, Carling Cup is the additional bonus - whereas Liverpool should call 0800 10 10 10, I repeat 0800 WON NOTHING, WON NOTHING, WON NOTHING
