He said that he is glad his decision was not a mistake, and I think he was right. Would he have started the cup final for United if he had joined? Would he have started in the champions league? Probably not, he would of come off the bench most of the time. Chelsea also has a large contingent of African players, which probably made him feel more at home, whereas United have none. Also, who would have Mikel learned his position from at United? John O'Shea? Carrick? Maybe if Keane was still there he would of helped Mikel progress, but I would much rather be learning from Makelele and Essien about how to play midfield than from "I can't tackle" Paul Scholes.
