2009/11 Home Kit Leaked
By: Wayne Farry | May 21st, 2009We’ve seen a lot of fakes doing the rounds recently online, but thanks to Football Shirt Culture I’ve got a pic here of the new Untied home kit for the 2009/11 season, made by Nike. Although it hasn’t been confirmed, this picture is obviously from an ad campaign and therefore I’m about ninety percent certain it’s not a fake. It’s sadly a little small but all the details can be seen. What do you think of it?

Do you think the black ‘V’ down the centre is fitting to United’s general style or is it out of place? And is it really a good idea to have Tevez in an ad for our kit for the next two years? Just saying…

Lame…
It looks too much like the old kit, if they were going to do this V thing they could have had a bit of an overhaul and re-designed the whole thing. I actually like the white and red better, but I think they should have used it as an away shirt and stuck with a completely red home shirt.
Our shirts are getting worse and worse…

It looks like Charlie Brown’s shirt, only with red instead of yellow. Good grief.

My first thought was “Why is Tevez in?”
The advert, could of course be faked.
But assuming its real – its odd. Very old school.

Come to think of it, didn’t they do something similar to this last season (only in reverse)? When this season’s kit was announced, wasn’t Slave absent from all of the adverts, leading everyone to believe he was already gone?

The thing is, these campaigns were probably finished months ago. So that could explain Tevez being in there.
